So. I've officially started blogging. I've followed blogs since I was a teenager(IAmFashion, In Search For Enlightenment, Vogue UK blogs, etc), but finally decided to start my own. Because, really, how am I going to keep in touch with *the real world* once I leave for Kingston in September?
And plus, starting (and keeping) a blog, was in my bucket list. ;)
I'll hopefully keep updating this with my (probably random) experiences this summer as I prepare for life as a grad student. I'll also be updating on the (probably awkward) experiences I'll have when I get to Kingston in September, particularly as I become a Teaching Assistant for the first time.
Yes, you read that right. I will be a TA. Am I already getting nightmares of revenge-seeking first-years pelting me with mean TA evaluations? Oh yea. Definitely.
As with with everything in life, a new chapter opens every once in awhile, and this is one of mine. Moving to a new city knowing absolutely nobody, working on an intensive degree that will probably take up most of my time, and reading like a maniac will be intense. And also very different from my life the past four years at UofT.
Yes, it's scary, but also exciting. This, my friends, will be my version of the grad life :).
